October 20th, 2006Here is my attempt at documenting my design process, which will continue to grow and change with more projects.
Things to keep in mind:
- What am I trying to communicate? What should the user feel and understand by the design? by the content on the homepage?
- Remember the underlying purpose and goal for the site. The site is nothing if it doesn’t serve a purpose.
- Have great navigation, distinguish between what is navigation and what is content.
- Logical content organization, reflected in the navigation.
- Negative space and spacing.
